Hey Sharks!

We had a good week this week. We worked on butterfly a lot, worked towards perfecting breaststroke kick, and continued working towards building our endurance. We had a good meet against Walden Creek on Tuesday Night with the final score being 278 Walden Creek, 238 Weatherstone. We did our best and had 64 personal bests, so I am really proud of our team. Attached are the results for the meet. As always there is important information in this email so please read through to the end!

This Week

This week I (Coach Molly) will be on vacation all week, so Coach Josh and Coach Grace are in charge. Any questions can be directed to them at [email protected] and [email protected]. I ask that we have extra parent support this week especially in the Tiger and Mako Practices with parents actively watching the swimmers and helping them keep everyone safe. Thanks!

Meet This Week

This week our Meet is against Scotts Mill at their pool. Please make sure you accurately declare your swimmer(s) by 12pm Monday 6/28 at the latest and if there are any last-minute changes make sure you email Josh and Grace as soon as you are aware of them.

This week’s meet theme is Hawaiian so I can’t wait to see pictures of everyone in their leis and Hawaiian shirts and more! I will be rooting everyone on from afar and can’t wait to get my report back from Josh and Grace in how everyone does.

New Lane Lines

Some of you might have noticed already but this week we finally received our shipment of NEW LANE LINES! We are all so excited about them but want to make sure they stay nice. Please enforce with your swimmers both during and after practice to stay off the top of the lane lines and not pull on them. Let’s keep the pool looking great!

Thank you to our volunteers at the Walden Creek Meet for helping immensely in our meet running so smoothly and quick. We are having a great season thus far and with four meets to go it will keep being a super fun time.
